Make Democracy Work

The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization that encourages the informed and active participation of citizens in government, works to increase understanding of major political policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
Join us for our April 20th program meeting on "Water: Get the Lead Out!" The Program will address concerns regarding the level of lead in drinking water sources. The presenters will address the water crisis in Flint Michigan, effects of lead in children, what a local city is doing to provide safe water to its residents,and the results of the Wheaton League's local water quality survey.
